No. Columbus Mobile Bartending Services does not purchase, sell, or provide alcoholic beverages. For private events where alcohol is not being sold, the event host is responsible for purchasing and providing all alcoholic beverages. We provide professional bartending service and can provide a customized shopping list based on your guest count and beverage preferences.

First, tell us about your event by completing our quote form. Next, we'll help you choose the right package and determine your staffing and bar-service needs. Once your date is secured with the required deposit, we'll help plan the bar details. Our bartenders then arrive ready to set up, serve your guests and clean up the bar area after service.

Absolutely! Alcohol Planning & Shopping Assistance is available as a $75 add-on for our Bartending Only and Essential Two-Bartender packages.
We'll help estimate your beer, wine, liquor, mixers, juices, garnishes and ice based on your guest count, event length and beverage preferences, and provide you with a customized shopping list.
Premium Convenience clients receive alcohol planning and the customized shopping list at no additional charge because it is already included in the package.

For most private events where the client provides the alcohol and Columbus Mobile Bartending Services is hired only to provide bartending services, we do not sell or provide the alcohol. However, alcohol laws can vary depending on the type of event, venue, and how alcohol is provided or sold. If your event involves selling alcohol, charging guests for alcoholic beverages, a cash bar, or a public event, additional permits or licensing may be required. We recommend confirming the requirements for your specific event with your venue and the Ohio Division of Liquor Control.

The number of bartenders you need depends on your guest count, event type, drink menu, service hours and bar setup. As a general guideline: up to 50 guests typically requires 1 bartender; 51–75 guests, 2 bartenders are recommended; 76–100 guests, 2 bartenders; 101–150 guests, 3 bartenders; and 151–200 guests, 3–4 bartenders. Final staffing recommendations may vary based on your event details.

A physical portable bar or table is not automatically included in our standard packages. You may provide a suitable bar, counter or table for the bartending station. Portable Bar Rental is available as an optional add-on for $125, depending on the event and setup. Either way, we'll professionally organize and set up the bartending station.

Ice is included with our Premium Convenience Package in a predetermined quantity based on your guest count, beverage selections and service needs. Larger events, outdoor events, extended service hours, specialty drinks or additional beverage-cooling needs may require additional ice and may incur an additional charge.

Absolutely. We can help you create a custom drink menu that fits your event, theme and guests, including signature cocktails, classic cocktails, beer and wine selections, mixers, juices and fresh garnishes. Custom signature cocktail service is available as an add-on starting at $150 for up to two selected signature cocktails. Pricing varies based on guest count, ingredients and cocktail complexity.

Absolutely. We can create refreshing non-alcoholic options such as signature mocktails, fruit and berry drinks, lemonade and citrus-based drinks, tropical flavors, sparkling mocktails and drinks featuring fresh herbs, fruit and garnishes. Mocktail ingredients, specialty syrups, fresh fruit and other consumables are priced separately unless specifically included in your package.

We proudly serve Columbus, Ohio and surrounding Central Ohio communities, including Gahanna, Westerville, New Albany, Reynoldsburg, Groveport, Canal Winchester, Pickerington, Blacklick, Dublin, Hilliard and surrounding areas. Travel outside our standard service area may be available for an additional travel fee. Contact us with your event location and we'll let you know if we can accommodate it.

A 50% non-refundable booking deposit is required to reserve your event date and secure your bartending team. The remaining 50% balance is due 48 hours before your event. Your date is not considered booked until the required deposit has been received and your booking confirmation has been sent.

Yes. Custom cocktail menus and signature drink ideas are available for birthdays, corporate events, themed parties and other special occasions. Custom Drink Menu Planning is available as an add-on starting at $150 for up to two selected signature cocktails. Drink ingredients and alcohol are purchased separately unless specifically included in your package.

We recommend booking your bartending service at least 4–6 weeks in advance to give us plenty of time to prepare for your event. For large celebrations, holiday parties and other high-demand dates, we recommend booking 2–3 months or more in advance. Last-minute bookings may still be accommodated depending on availability.

If running water is not available at the bar area, please notify us in advance. Depending on the event setup, an appropriate handwashing or hand-rinse solution may be required to maintain proper sanitation during service. Additional equipment or supplies may be required and may result in an additional charge.

We typically require 1–1.5 hours of access to the bar area before bartending service begins. This gives our bartenders time to organize the bar, set up equipment, prepare garnishes, chill beverages and make sure the bar is ready before guests arrive. Setup time is separate from bartending service hours.

Absolutely. We provide bartending services for outdoor parties and private events. For outdoor events, the client is responsible for providing a covered or shaded bar area that protects our bartenders, beverages and equipment from direct sun, rain and other weather conditions. Outdoor events may also require additional planning for ice, beverage cooling, water access, electricity and weather protection.
